Collected here are three books I have published, two on Shake-speare (published under the pen name "Odysseus Er") and one on the Holocaust. Shortly I will also be publishing an anti-Utopian novel entitled 5744 H.E. "H.E." stands for "Hebrew Era" and it draws its inspiration from George
Orwell's 1984 (which is 5744 in the Hebrew calendar).
For those interested in my intellectual background, I have a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Marquette University where I taught Logic as a graduate student. I have also studied at the University of Florida/Gainesville (English graduate student) and I got my BA from Hamline University in St. Paul MN. My favorite renown authors include Plato, Lao Tzu, Chaucer, Shake-speare (of course), Dostoyevski, and the saintly Orwell.
An Arabic saying goes: "Do not tell me what degrees you have--tell me where you have traveled!" I too suffer from wanderlust. I have traveled to over 15 countries, mostly in Europe and the Middle East. Poland is perhaps my most frequent destination (my wife is Polish). I also have two well-adjusted young daughters, one in college and one in high school.
Without wanting to appear too self-important I often see my reckless disregard for convention as an outgrowth of my temperament and my studies in philosophy. I do not suffer fools gladly (and--let's be honest--most people are not led by reason). If there is something forbidden to think or express--that is exactly what I want to investigate and publish. Hopefully my pains will serve you, the reader, well. Far too many people are literally afraid to think, and it is frustrating (to say the least) to get people to unlock their chains and remove their blinders.
